GloRilla and “FNF” Producer Hitkidd Exchange Words Over Contract Dispute

GloRilla and the producer of his hit song “FNF (Let’s Go)”, Hitkidd exchange words following contractual disputes over the rights to the song.

GloRilla recently signed a deal with Yo Gotti’s label CMG. Although details of her deal with the label have not been made public, the “FNF” producer is now alleging the song is part of her deal with Gotti, who is now suing Hitkidd for the rights to the song.

In a series of tweets on Sunday night, Hitkidd says he’s going public because he felt blindsided by the new push for the label to own the song. “So basically these people are trying to sue me for ‘FNF’ because they want to own the song, BUT they want to own the song to put on this EP that both parties knew about,” the producer said on Twitter.

“So tell me how you put ‘FNF’ in your contract without telling me, AFTER I told you and your MANAGER [every day] that we [were] in Los Angeles with Saweetie, which the labels will try to sign you because of ‘FNF’”, he continues.

GloRilla pushed back against the allegations saying it was Hitkidd who first signed the song long before it exploded. She shared that she still had love for the producer she found, but blamed him for initially taking her by surprise by giving up the rights to the song the first week of its release. GloRilla also clarified that she wrote all of her songs and made no money from “FNF” despite the song being one of the biggest rap songs of the year.

Power Entertainment founder and Hitkidd business partner Kadeem Phillips also released a lengthy statement defending the producer and berating Yo Gotti.

“He [Hitkidd] ceded 50% of the mastering and 50% of the publishing for FNF directly to Glo,” Phillips wrote. “We actually did everything to protect Glo from the industry and herself. Honestly, Glo is independently raising the money for FNF, it’s all hers, she just doesn’t own the song and doesn’t We actually saved him from losing millions and Glo was able to get a deal without having to sell his indie record.

“Unfortunately, CMG froze all money, even Glo’s money in its latest claim against us,” Phillips continued in a lengthy statement shared on Facebook. “So if she hasn’t seen her money. Tell her to ask her label about it since she “sold” her masters and released them.

Glorilla quickly responds to Kadeem Phillips, calling him the “biggest slime” of the entire ordeal along with his record label and the song’s producer.

The song “FNF (Let’s Go)” became a viral hit on TikTok this summer after being released on April 29. The song has since caught the attention of other rappers, including Cardi B leading to GloRilla winning a BET Hip Hop Award for Best Breakthrough. Hip hop artist 2022.

GloRilla has since released another single, “Tomorrow,” and teamed up with Cardi B on “Tomorrow 2.”
