Bearded man spotted in the clouds over Lubbock, Texas

By on July 17, 2021 0

Texas resident Amber Villarreal submitted a photo of a cloud formation in Lubbock taken on July 15, 2021 that looks a lot like a man.

If you have a little imagination, you can clearly see his nose, eyebrows, forehead, eyes and beard. He looks a bit like a wizard to me, sort of a merlin, stoically scrutinizing Texas. The next thought that came to my mind was Leonardo Davinci.

The cloud formation looks a bit like it too. What do you see?

Lubbock is a great place to watch the clouds. Growing up here, my friends and I used to lie on the trampoline for hours, looking straight up at the sky, laughing and joking about what the clouds looked like. It’s such a simple and entertaining game for kids and it seems like something we carry into our adult life. It’s totally free to watch the clouds, and it can be quite fun.

If you’ve never thought of taking your kids specifically to watch the clouds, maybe now is the time to go! Pick a nice cloudy day that is unlikely to run, grab some blankets and head to the park. You could even offer prizes to the most creative cloud creatures. Who needs GameStop when you have clouds? Ha.
