Ariel Green and Jaime Cardenas-Navia promoted to partners at Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP


REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., March 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP (RJLF), an elite majority women-owned trial boutique, announced that attorneys Ariel C.Green and Jaime F. Cardenas-Navia have been promoted to the rank of effective partner January 1, 2022.

Ariel C.Green is a partner of RJLF’s Silicon Valley office. As a litigator specializing in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, Ariel brings her passion for storytelling to her trial practice and crafts themes that resonate with judges and juries. In particular, she was part of the RJLF test team which obtained a $236 million patent infringement verdict for Densify against tech giant VMware – a verdict acknowledged in The National Law Review2021 “Verdicts Hall of Fame” (7and biggest verdict of the last five years).

Ariel also helps oversee RJLF’s pro bono practice. She currently provides pro bono representation to June and Angie Provost of Provost Farm, a farm and activism center founded to preserve the ancestral heritage of from southern Louisiana Black and brown farmers. The years-long conflict between the provosts in the fight for their lands and livelihoods was featured in the New York Times‘ award-winning “1619” series. She also represented voters who opposed racial and partisan gerrymandering in Georgia.

Ariel served as clerk for the Honorable Justice John A. Kronstadt of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the honorable judge Raymond C.Fisher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She got her JD from Stanford Law School and bachelor’s degrees in biology, chemistry and philosophy as well as a master’s degree in public affairs from the University University of Missouri.

Jaime F. Cardenas-Navia is a partner of RJLF new York Office. He is a litigator with extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement litigation involving a wide range of complex technologies, including consumer products such as smartphones, tablets, cameras, printers and scanners, as well as nutritional formulations, solar panels, cloud computing. , and others. His accomplishments have earned him recognition as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in intellectual property litigation.

Most recently, Jaime navigated two plaintiff-side patent infringement litigation from discovery to pre-trial in the Northern District of California. In upcoming jury trials, where Jaime will lead the questioning of multiple witnesses, the claim for damages in each case is expected to exceed $100 million. Other recent successes include obtaining the refusal of a inter partes examining at the institution stage, developing a new legal theory in response to a double patent request, and obtaining a clean sweep in a claim construction case.

Jaime also maintains an active pro bono practice. He sued for negligence and breach of contract in state and federal courts to obtain a favorable settlement for a Detroit-based on the artist and an appeal reversal of the denial of Social Security disability benefits for a minor. While in law school, Jaime articled at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Judge’s Chambers Jimmie V. Reyna, and the International Trade Commission of the Office of Legal Counsel. He graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center and earned joint degrees in engineering and economics from Swarthmore College.
